I'm not absolutely sure this "Kai" is a Lexx reference, but the fellow has big hair and
was a proper hero.

Of course the accusation is credible on its face since he's demonstrated his martial capacities -- and this is at the same time reason to see he's just the sort of suspect who gets rounded up by law enforcement. His guilt or innocence will be determined in a court of law.
