The ratings have gone up from last season but they are still not higher enough.  So far the episode that got the highest ratings was the one were Nathan
became Sylar again and fell off the roof after Peter had begged him to try and hang on in Sylar's body.

Then the next episode after that dropped again sadly.  It still has a lot of fans but not enough to hold onto it.  It really sucks too.

That really does suck, I hope this isn't the last of it.  Last season was a bit convoluted, but this season got better.  I shall miss it tremendously if this is the end of it.

Thanks for posting that.  Well I hope he's right.  But I have know tv series not to wrap up and end, so just because they've not got to the end of the stories does not mean anything.

I knew Samuel was up to something and it would be the other guy shooting eveyrone up so that 'his family' would feel like he was a martyr and accept him back.  Sylar's feeling lonely that's why he doesn't want his powers anymore, I wonder how he's going to save the other people.  I hope Claire and her father can get out of their sticky situation.

I think Matt is going save the people by becoming part of Sylar again. It's so sad that Peter has become alone when he tried to revive Sylar.

Oh dear what has Matt got him self into.

Well it's only two more episodes and that's it for now:(

Q&A: Greg Grunberg teases 'Heroes' future

Monday, January 25 2010, 20:31 GMT

By Neil Wilkes, Editor
Warning: This article contains spoilers about the final episodes of Heroes season four that some readers may prefer to avoid.

You've got to feel sorry for Matt Parkman. He's not had the easiest of rides - afflicted by personal strife and an ongoing battle with that bothersome body-snatcher, Sylar. Now, just as he thinks he's getting his life back on track, Parkman's nemesis is back for one final burst of revenge. We caught up with Greg Grunberg to find out what's to come in this season's final few episodes of Heroes and get the latest on those persistent cancellation rumours.

Are you pleased with Matt's journey on Heroes this season?
"I am actually, I've been pretty happy with what they've given me. Every year they make my character more and more important to the story, to the history of these characters and where they're going. So I can't complain! At the end of last season they turned to Matt to take Sylar down, then he begrudgingly did it, knowing there would be consequences. Again, he just wants to have a normal life and a family, but it's not going to happen."

You had some awesome scenes with Zach in the first half of the season. How was it working with him again?
"Zach's the best. He's amazing and a great guy. The two of us have a kind of shorthand when we work together, so we can step on each other a bit and the dialogue flows more naturally. It was cool because I got to imitate him a bit, when he was controlling my body. We had a lot of fun with it."

Some of the scenes were quite dark, but bizarrely, also really funny.
"Yeah, which is great. That's what I love. It's a really delicate balance but it's exactly what you just said, there's also a comedic edge - he's so good at doing that."

There are just three episodes left this season. What's to come?
"The remaining episodes this season, Matt gets very dark. He tries once and for all to take care of Sylar. Some would say he does succeed. It's really dark, and he almost gets possessed in his obsession with ending this chapter of his life. I hope it's gonna scare people and they see a side of Matt Parkman they've never seen. When I read the script I was like 'Oh my God, this guy's really gonna do whatever it takes.' He's already basically killed himself to get rid of Sylar before, but now he's doing something that's just disturbing."

It's such a shame, because he just seems to be back on the right path. How will this affect his relationship with Janice going forward?
"What I'm talking about that he does, he does it in his house. So basically all bets are off. He discusses it with his wife - it's one of those things where your back's up against the wall and you have no choice but to deal with it. I think it's an interesting way and a good thing."

I read some quotes from you about the end of this season where you say there is no way this could be a series finale. Does it end on a cliffhanger then? Most of the volumes wrap themselves up.
"What I like about our show is that you'll end the volume and then start the next volume at the end of a season. There's a bit of that, but what I was talking about is that it's not really an appropriate ending to a show like this. I think you just really need to wrap up these stories. You owe it to the audience to do it in a great way, and I don't think we're anywhere near doing that, so that's why it just doesn't seem possible that this would be the last season for our show."

When do you think you'll find out if you've been renewed?
"We should find out soon. The writers need some lead-time to write the episodes so we should find out this week, maybe next week. I dunno."

Only one more episode left! It was Peter holding him and Sylar behind the wall, once he found some forgiveness he was able to chip away at it. Now Clair and her Father are buried 50 feet beneath the earth, I wonder how they're going to get out of that one!

While watching this episode, pink floyd's song the Wall kept on playing in my mind.

:( yeah only one more to go.

I think Claude the invisible man might save Sylar and Peter. He's name is mentioned in the guest list but that might be a red herring. Mentioned by name but no appearance.

I felt sad for Hiro that the love of his life was at the end of hers, but it sounded like she had a good life.  Seems weird that Sylar is playing the Hiro, but at least he helped stopped the massacre that Samuel had planned, and in the end Samuel was really just a small, pitiful man.  Clair definitely let the cat out of the bag about people with powers, so I wonder how the world is going to react to it.  I really hope they bring Heroes back for another season, this one was much better than the last.

Yes it was very sad that finally he gets to meet Charlie but she had another life.  It was so sad.  Yeah it is a bit strange that Sylar has turned a new leaf and wonder how long it will last.

I still don't know if NBC is going pick it up for another series though and even if they do they will not be filming it for a while.  This season and the first season are my favorite Heroes episodes.

We'd be gutted to see Heroes go, but shark-jumping episodes and declining ratings mean this is one sci-fi show that could soon be saying goodbye. "This season, Heroes continued its decline and is now at a level that would warrant cancellation under most circumstances," says the Hollywood Reporter ominously.

OH NO!!!!!  I hope those idiots at N B C don't cancel the show!  I thought this season was much better than parts of the last.  I really hope they bring it back.  Ditto on all the sad faces.

Good news and hope this is true. NBC “Strongly Considering” Renewing Heroes for Season 5

They say if the do get to do another series they will tie up all the stories so there's no loose ends. That will be good.

That's hopeful news!  I really hope they do get another season, some of the series characters become a bit convuluted, but this past season was much better.

I copied the below article from his official site:http://www.zacharyquinto.com/news/2010/05/chapters-end.html

chapter's end...

the road ahead...
yesterday nbc announced that heroes is officially cancelled.  as much as we have been aware of this possibility for a few weeks - it remains surreal to consider that the decision has been made.  the action has been taken.  and this chapter (or volume) is really over for all of us who worked on the show - and for all of you who watched it.  i want to extend myself in a huge swell of gratitude to all of the fans.  for investing in the stories we told.  for engaging in the characters we created.  and for standing by us through all the ups and downs of what was at times a rocky road.  your commitment enriched the experience for all of us - and i know that we will always be grateful for your enthusiasm.  it has been a true honor to share this time in my life with my amazing cast mates and our indomitable crew.  i will certainly miss them most of all.  the gift of working alongside such talented and inspiring people is something i will carry with me everywhere i go from here.  and no matter where my work and my life take me - i will forever look back on heroes as the game changer.  tim kring and the original creative team and writing staff took a risk on me to play gabriel gray when there was no reason to risk - besides their belief in me.  they gave voice to a character that has challenged me and rewarded me beyond my wildest imagination.  i will never forget that.  it is humbling and deeply moving.  so i thank them.  and i thank you.  and i assure you that while this door has closed - and as cliché as it sounds - others are flying open even as we speak.  this is only the beginning in so many ways.  and i hope that the fans i have made through this profound experience will follow me into many new and unchartered territories.  i think the sarmy should lead the charge... it's only fitting after all.  thanks for your many well wishes and for your loyalty.  let us move on with gratitude.  that is exactly what i intend to do.
zq.
