01 Mantrid
A supremely dark character from my favourite season. Mantrid I don't think (like Kai) could not have been played by any other actor. He was unstoppable, probably one of the most powerful forces in the history of sci-fi. His demise was bought about only by himself.
02 Lyekka (season 2)
Lyekka bordered on being a full time crew member (which would have been a good idea to carry on as so). Her character was I suppose libertine, a sword on a string dangling above the crew of the LEXX, but an essential character in season 2.
03 Dr. Rainbow
Dr. Rainbow for me added one of the most memorable characters. Extremely funny in a dark way, this character was one of the strongest in season 3.
04 791
Had me in fits of laughter. 790's uncontrollable alter ego was again dark but very humerous. 790 attempts to overide the cyborg mentality offering a schizophrenic twist of humour. I think when he was about to 'rape' Stan when 790 regained his senses and exclaimed "Run Tweedle, or kill yourself, anything as long as I dont have to go through with it". Divine.
05 Brizon
A man who was portrayed as 'truly disgusting'. Pretty devoid of humour except for the banter with Mnatrid, which was for me one of the best moments of all seasons.
06 Giggerota
She was obviously completely mad. A thorn in Stans side which offered some close shaves. Again lacking in humour until season 4, I loved Ellens acting all round for G.
07 Duke
A character I think that was stronger than Prince. It was a shame the duel was left incomplete, I think Duke could have had more of a story arc in season 3.
08 Thodin
Contrived from the names Thor & Odin? The Ostral B heretic was wel played and had powers that could have been better endulged.
09 Prince
I know a lot of people like Prince. I think the Prince character offered great dialogue but because seaon 3 was a little frustrating his role was a little 'too much', especially in season 4. I think though his character was well delivered in season 3.
10 Little LEXX
Cute. At the end of quite an emotive episode, and run, it was beautiful to see after the sad demise of LEXX, and for that matter Kai. Little LEXX was symbolic of new life right at the end.

I agree Mantred was a powerful dark character.
He was like the evil thing, in horror films, that just wouldn't die.
The Lexx, outfoxed him. In the end he was dead, dead.
Brison, ugh! He had some tender moments, then he exposed his vile body functions.
It was revolting. As a viewer you wanted to sympathize but couldn't.
Duke, more of him would have been appreciated.Last edited on Sat Feb 23rd, 2013 06:52 pm by cat1946

I liked Duke as well, he had kind of a "enlightened evil" aspect to his personality.

Here's what comes to mind for me:
Dr. Kazan (Terminal)
Charming psychopath -- we all know one, whether we know it or not.
Mothbreeders
A living reminder of the Divine Shadow's callous amorality.
Argon Protopi (Piemaker, IWHS) Who gave us our first clear look at the above; would he rather have simply had his skull eviserated and be dressed in a blue jumpsuit if he'd had the choice?
Original Zev
Lisa Hines was the pathos filled platform upon which our foxy little modified sex slave tart stood
Former Divine Shadows
The bad brains who gave continuity to the Shadows evil
Schlemmi, et. al. (Luvliner, et seq)
The cynical and twisted misanthrop; was there someone decent inside hoping to be released?
Bog (Eating Pattern)
Rutger Hauer provided a clear look into the life of a junkie/alcholic/cocaine addict, etc.
Mantrid
This one character really does stick with one, doesn't he?
Moss (Lyekka, et seq)
Paternalism personified.
Duke
I'm in agreement on Duke. Not sure he was stronger than Prince, but I think we may like him because although he was evil, he was the *underdog* among to two evil bastard.

Oh you reminded me. Bog too. I agree about the insight onto the mind of a junkie.

Bog was pretty much hollowed-out by his addiction to pattern; a shadow of his former self.
Pondering the topic more, I realize that I'm not absolutely sure what is meant by "supporting actor/actress"; does such suggest that these are characters who help the main actors develop their own characters? My mention of the mothbreeders don't have much in the way of personality by nature of what they were, but there were moments when their nature provided otherwise unknown glimpses into the make-up of the main characters.

I always considered supporting cast to be any actor/actress that was in the story but not part of the main story as a whole.
