Anna, Stephen and Alex presented at the Emmy's tonight, here's a link to Trueblood Online for updates on all the red carpet appearances, gowns and anecdotes.

http://www.trueblood-online.com/

I have to say, they looked scrumptious..Anna wore Alexander McQueen gown, Stephen an Alexander McQueen suit and Alexander wore a Tom Ford tux. Gorgeous.

:TBSM:

BTW, the finale is 2 WEEKS AWAY.

I loved Anna's gown, it was gorgeous! She's almost as tall as Stephen when she wears heels.

The ending of this week's ep was quite the cliffhanger, how are Erik and Russell going to survive burning in the sun?

Well I don't know and we have to wait TWO FRIGGIN' WEEKS to find out...grrrrrrr...

Here's a great pic of the trio presenting...One of the awards they handed out was to Al Pacino, who was incoherent, and rambled on and on and on and  on.....

Alex looks stunning, and Anna's dress is interesting....Stephen looks dashing, but shouldn't he be in a tux for presenting? Hmmm...

Up close her dress doesn't look as nice as it did from further away. I heard it was #1 on the worst dressed list, hehehehe. They do look good together though and Alexander looks stunning in that tux. I can't believe there's only one more ep left, the season went way too fast!

In True Blood news, Alexander announced on the red carpet Sunday that even though he hasn't seen his scripts yet, Season 4 starts filming in November. They're not letting ANY grass grow under this series, it's just way too hot.

Just like the cast members...ahem.

Had to stop in and say "Thanks" to Dragonflygurl for the Collider article - I'm getting a real kick out of the Russell Edginton storyline. He's spot on the money about wolves. I had a white Wolf-hybrid in the 90s, and I can attest to the fact that even bred-down, they are NOT dogs. He was intensely loyal to his pack, loved our cats and Bosco, our little Pomerainian, but he was constantly testing me. When he was about 5, I had to donate him to "Wolf Haven", because I just had to let him be what he was.

Anyway, I've managed to find spoilers for the last ep. of TB this season.

Here's the biggest one.

It seems a plant-lady comes to Bon Ton, eats four astronauts, then reconstitutes Talbot!

Okay, not really, but donchya think that "Vat-o-Talbot" is kinda derivative of some early Season 2 episodes of our favorite show?

It is a bit like Zev's yellow goo in a jar.  I wouldn't mind Talbot coming back (other than flashbacks I hear).  His character was hilarious.

There is such a parallel of Russell carrying around that red goop in a clear glass cigar humidor = and 790  and his vat o' Zev, it's not even funny. Someone been watchin' Lexx, I betcha.  I personally am vibrating at the idea of the finale, supposedly it's gonna be a doozy of a cliffhanger.

BTW, our bad-ass wolf-boy Alcide Hevereaux, (Joe Manganiello) is presenting Sunday at the MTV video awards, starts at 8pm CST. Might have to record it since it probably runs over the start time of TB at 9pm  here.

What a finale, lots of loose ends to tie up, and they sure left lots of cliffhangers for Season 4 !! It was nice of Alan Ball to come on after the show was over and thank all the TB fans, he's very appreciative of the fans, thank you.

So for the wrap-up...SPOILERS !!!!

1. Sookie saves both Eric and Russell from deep-fried Southern paradise by dragging them into the bar. Eric proceeds to recover while Russell tries his best to con Sookie into releasing him, but she dunks the Talbots remains down the garbage disposal instead, cackling all the while. Great shot. Sookie is PISSED at both Eric and Bill and rescinds every invitation she's ever given out.

2. Tara finds out Sam is a shapeshifter and she's about had it with the Supe politics and incidents so she takes off, cuts her hair all off, goes to her mothers and finds her underneath the married Preacher and then takes off again. It appears she's bailing town.

3. After telling Tara he's a shifter, Sam figures out Tommy has robbed him, chases him down and we see a gunshot aimed towards Tommy but who knows?

4. Arlene and Terry resign themselves to raising the Demon spawn child of Rene.

5. Lafayette starts having hallucinations due to the V he and Jesus took and he has a total freak-out, calls Jesus to come to the bar and Jesus reveals he's a Brujo, a male witch. For some strange reason, that calms Lala down.

6. Jason and Crystal go to Hotshot to warn of the impending DEA raid, but Felton has decided to go rogue, shoots Calvin and another dude, grabs Crystal, takes off with the V in Jason's pickup truck, leaving him to help the stranded children and other inbred members of the village.

7. Eric calls Alcide and demands he bring over his van, promising to wipe out Alcide's fathers gambling debt in the bargain.  Alcide comes to the bar before they wake up, and tells Sookie he's been dreaming of her...just as the vamps awake. They then take Russell to a construction site where they''ve dumped Russell into a vat of cement, and proceed to pour it on him as he rants. Eric sees the ghost of Godric who keeps asking him to forgive the King, but Eric says no deal. While shaking a congratulatory hand of Bill's he's struck with silver, thrown into the cement by Bill who proceeds to blast him with cement. Bill then uses Eric's phone to imitate him and asks Reuben, the hit man, to kill Pam. He then flees. Pam kills Reuben.

8. Mrs Fortenberry and Summer bring a counselor for a Vampire intervention to Hoyt's work and try to get him to leave Jessica, he tells them to get lost. Hoyt's mother is then seen buying a rifle at the sporting goods store. Hoyt then takes Jessica to a new place he's rented and asks her to move in, and insists he wants to marry her.

9. After Sookie gets home. Bill shows back up, and insists they talk, he related that he's killed both Eric and Russell and promises to kill Pam and the Queen since they know of Sookie's secret, even though Sookie has broken up with him. Before he leaves, Eric shows up, covered in cement, and tells Sookie that not only did the Queen send Bill to 'procure' Sookie for her own ends, but he let her get beaten to death the night they first met, so he could feed her his blood right away. Sookie is devastated that Bill manipulated her feelings and he confesses. Eric is apologetic for her pain, but she rejects him as well. Bill then goes home, where he's tricked the Queen into coming, thinking she's getting Sookie, but Bill reveals he's going to kill her instead, they face off.

10. Sookie then goes to the cemetary to visit Gran's grave, very much upset and while there, Claudine appears and invites Sookie to come with them. And with that, they all blink out in a blast of yellow light...

The end. Til next summer.

Supposed plotlines for next season: AB has said they're going to follow book 4 somewhat, that's the book where Eric loses his memory due to a curse by a witch trying to take over his territory. AB has said, Eric WILL lose his memory and there will be witches. Ought to be pretty darn good. can't friggin' wait.

THANK YOU ALAN BALL AND CHARLAINE HARRIS, it's been a great ride. Unbelievable season.

I wish they would have had more of the story line with Bill, Eric and Sookie that they did.  The rest of it seemed rather boring, there are so many characters now that it's getting rather convoluted and less about the Vamps.  It really surprised me at the end when Bill did that to Eric.  I guess Bill's true colors are becoming known and I don't blame Sookie for kicking his ass to the curb.  I'm definitely going to have to start up HBO again next year to watch it!

One of the funniest lines? After Eric returns to Sookie's house, covered in cement, he tells Bill.."I want my phone back..".
