Gosh Mu is an old lady.
My oldest cat was 26 and she had to be put to sleep as she was part wild and slept outside a lot and I did not know she had been fly blown and got into her spine and infected. In the end she was so ill. It broke my heart to have her so ill and put to sleep.
Even when the vet gave her the injection while I cuddled her, she would not sleep so he had to give her more injection.
She was a stray cat too. Most of my cats were in the past.
I my self am still not sure how old my ginger cat Kai is as he was also a stray. But I do know how old Fifi is because my mum got her back in 95 and she was born October 1994 30th. So she is just over 14 years old now.

Yes, it would be the same day as Brain Downey's b'day too. I'm glad she was not a halloween cat.

While I was filling out the paperwork for the cats to get groomed, they had a video tape running with pet info and FAQs
Q: How much time has a 16 year old cat spend sleeping?
A: 10 years.

WOW that's a lot of sleeping. They got save energy for all that mouse hunting or in Fifi's case all that eating she does.
To my horror earlier on I now find that my outer cat flap has broken, come off and it's not that long ago it was put on, so now I have two doors with holes in where the flaps used to be. I'm glad it's not cold weather or my kitchen would be freezing now.
Oh damn it never rains but it pours. I've had so much bad luck lately it's not funny.

That's interesting. They should rename their island, Cat island.

That's sad that there aren't that many people left on the island, hopefully the cats will draw more and more tourism to help support the island and maybe more people will move to it.

"Too many cats" is an unfamiliar concept.

It would appear babies know more then adults regarding dog's bark.

I'm waiting for someone to make a dictionary of cat sounds. It would have to be pretty large to encompass the number of noises my Twilight makes. LOL
