it sucked!
I watched the episode where they battled some werewolf and Queen Victoria was in it and the walls of some castle were covered in oil of mistletoe or whatnot and I'm sorry..I tried to give it some rah rah rah, I really tried but oy..haven't I seen this before in some cheesy old b/w movie with Basil Rathbone or something?
sucked the big wienie!
nothing fresh about it at all..same old same old..and not even the Dr. could save it!

Oh well Ketana that was not a very good eppy but I can asure you the rest of them are good.
Well I liked all the doctor who series, even the black and white ones. I can't really compare them, as the stories are different and of course with CGI the sets don't move no more, lol.
Here's a dalek for all of you to enjoy.

| I didn't care for the Lantern episode very much from the second season, but the rest of it was pretty much okay, I loved how they brought back the old nemesis and that they were defeated in the end by the good doctor. But it was sad at how it ended between Rose and the Doctor. I look forward to the Christmas ep, Runaway Bride.

I think each actor to portray the Doctor has brought something special and interesting to the character. The only one I didn't really care for personally was Colin Baker, the 6th Doctor. He bothered me. I've got miscellaneous DVDs of Doctor Who ranging from the beginning through the Eccleston series, which I adored because I'm a huge Eccleston fan to start with, but I've not been able to afford to buy the Tennant series yet. I taped it off BBC2 tho (including the 5minute Children in Need special bit that fills the gap between the Parting of the Ways and The Christmas Invasion), so I do actually have it to watch when I want to. Some bits were better than others, like every series, but yeah... I luff it all, and like Angel am totally looking forward to the Runaway Bride ep!
One day I shall have all the DVDs, and then I shall finally be satisfied LOL *pushes the door on the TARDIS money box just to hear the dematerialization noise* Fear me... or not ~_^

I could only get hooked on Tom Baker as the Doctor. For some reason, I HAD to see every episode he was in. He wasn't conventionaly handsome, but he had 'something'...yum.
Course he looks like hammered shit now...ahem..

Here, here! I think he bothered just about everyone that was a fan of the show. I understand he was cast because he attended a party at John Nathan-Turner's home, and did a smashing job of entertaining the children there. Didn't do much for the ratings, tho'. I would have been fine if they'd just gone from Davidson to McCoy - I consider the CB years the beginning of the end of the first series.
That, and they lost Douglas Adams on the writing chores.

I'm putting my vote in for the latest Doctor. The show fits my sense of eclectic humor and sci-fi.

| I just got the rest of the Torchwood eps and the Dr. Who Runaway Bride Christmas special in the mail from Plif yesterday! Thanks Plif. So I watched the Dr. who ep last night and it was so freaking cool! The Arachnid empress queen special effects and the story line that her babies were really the creation of earth was great! I really enjoyed the ep and thought that Donna would be tempted to go with the doctor at the end. Can't wait to see what season three has in store.

LOL! It's not me, I don't even have them yet. Waiting on Plif to send me the first 6 or 7 eps to watch.
