Oh yes I totally agree. He'll be a hard act to follow but with Dr Who most times it works out because each actor brings a different turn on it. He's basically the same man but with a twist.

Remember when you were sad that Christopher Eccleston was leaving but you soon got used to David, so I think it will be the same for the new dr who.

I knew from the very start that the Master would be back and would have a hand in David's Dr's ending. Hell the doctor only has two more regenerations, because Time Lords can only regenerate 12 times.

Captain Jack is going to be in the two parter of Dr Who, goody.

Part One:

It’s the Tenth Doctor’s final journey – but his psychotic nemesis the Master has been reborn, on Christmas Eve. With both determined to cheat death, the battle ranges from the wastelands of London to the mysterious Immortality Gate, while the alien Ood warn of an even greater danger approaching, as a terrible shadow falls across the entire Universe.

Part Two:

The Doctor faces the end of his life as the Master’s plans hurtle out of control. With the sound of drums growing louder, and an ancient trap closing around the Earth, the Doctor and Wilf must fight alone. But sacrifices must be made, and the deadly prophecy warns: "He will knock four times."

I read that it will be shown on bbc America Part One - Part One will air on December 26, 2009 and Part Two Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 9:00 p.m.

So that's real cook Angel, you don't have to wait very long for it.

Make sure you'll have plently of tissues.

Thanks for posting that DFG. It'll be good to see John Barrowman again! And damned sad that this is David Tennant's last episode. It sounds good though, I'll have to let Maya know that Barrowman is going to be in it!

I saw the Waters of Mars over the weekend.  It was good to see the Doctor in action again.  At the end he changes his mind, even though he knows he shouldn't save them, and he seemed not quite himself, like he was all powerful because he can change time.  I found that quite out of character for the Doctor and wonder if in a way he's cracking, so that's why he did it?  He knows he's near the end of his time, the Christmas episode looks really good, can't wait to see that, but very sad it's David Tennant's last bit as Doctor Who.

I think maybe it has something to do with the Time lords coming back.  Perhaps they had a hand in controlling him but that's just a guess really.  Perhaps he's just cracking up like you said.

What a great ending to David Tennant's career as Dr. Who.  It was absolutely brilliant as is David Tennant, he will be sorely missed as this character.  He was the best Doctor since Tom Baker had the role in the 1970's. It seems silly, but I had tears in my eyes at the end of it, it was sad to see him in his last episode.  I wish him well and only hope the next actor playing Doctor Who will be half as brilliant.

While looking up some old tv theme music to a program my mum used to watch and I came across this site. Very interesting.

Anyway, here's the latest version of the new Dr Who theme, which at first I thought WTF have they done to it but it sort of grows on me a bit now.

It didn't sound too different to me, the beginning did a bit.  Have they said when the next season will start in the UK?

I checked out BBC America and it said the new Doctor Who would be starting April 17th, so it looks like we may only be a week behind you! Usually we never saw it that quickly after the UK did.
